Cartonnage Cup Finishing Class with Julia Navik - Saturday, July 25th at 2:30 pm

Come learn to finish your needlepoint with professional finisher Julia Navik of Fairlywell Handmade! Her finishing work is so sought after that we decided to have her come teach you how to do it yourself. In this class you will take your fully stitched needlepoint canvas and turn it into an cartonnage cup! This will be an easier method than the traditional cartonnage. 

Saturday, July 25th from 2:30-6:30 pm 

You'll need to bring:

• A Completed Canvas that will fit inside of a 4” square - because this is an advanced class, you need to be comfortable finishing the ornament of that shape (round, square, etc)

• A photocopy of the completed canvas

• One or two fabrics of your choice - 1/4 of two colors or 1/2 yard of one color 

• Cording materials in the colors you’d like to use  - up to 4 colors of floche or pearle cotton
